[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I just wanted everyone to see what my first entry looked like full faced. This guy has more beak than head. This guy was sitting in a tree "people watching" at the Knoxville Zoo.

pp: extensive cropping, decreased shadows, decreased mids, increased saturation, saved, opened in photo philtre, 1 click sharpness, 1 click saturation, 1 click contrast, framed signed, 1 click softning, 1 click sat., 1 click contrast, resized.

I appreciate any and all comments on my photos. Thanks to everyone who visits....cdh

p.s. I am going to strangle my husband for making me do all the typing.

Beautiful. You have worked hard over the shot and it is evident. Nice colors and good shot. Keep it up. What is the name of the bird?

Regards
Yasir Nisar

I like this photo. The expression on the bird is great. I feel that you were a little heavy handed on the cropping and lost some image detail and as a result the bird's head doesn't look sharp but otherwise great photo :).

Hi Connie - what a bill and big eyes this bird has! Great capture- I like the colors and the shallow DOF! Good seeing a new post from you! keep them coming!

best wishes,
Steve

your doing good, just have to work on getting crisp focus. pp work is good. well done..james

Hi Connie - Cool perspective here. Nice colours and details of feathers. Good PP work. Wondering about the sharpness of eyes and beak, though. Guess you focussed more on the breast? Well done!

Connie,
Welcome to Trek Lens. I found your page through your husbands. It looks like photography runs in the family!
the beak on this guy looks like a platypus bill! Strange....good capture.
I like the fact that James makes you type out notes, they complete the post and make things more interesting. You'll find if you critique someone elses work, they'll take a good look at yours. They will read ALL your notes....and take how much you put into it when they critique your shot and will be able to help you technically. Good bird shot, look at that stare!!!

Hello Connie

Long live notes...... we need um.

As already stated,a very good shot but the sharpness is a little lacking, other than that the subject is a very good and interesting one with a good natural left sid eframing. Please keep them coming ok.
