[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the full view of my very first post (the head shot) to TL. This one was taken a 18 months earlier. This is how it came out of the camera except for a little cropping and resizing in Photoshop. He is not quite as ominious as he was in first post which was taken with the D2X with a Tamron 500MM lens. Memphis has a great zoo with many animals in natural looking habitats.

Hi Jim,

Very nice picture. He seems to be not to happy with the publicity.
Wath I also like is that you didn't boost the colors to much.

Well done,

Hendrik

Superb shot, superb details and sharpness,
the cropping makes it look as if he was in his natural habitat

Jim this is very well done. I like the position in which you placed the subject, the image is razor sharp and the color is spot on, and the exposure is fabulous! Excellent, 2 thumbs way up! B

Excellent capture, fantastic detail and natural colors.
Great work!

A very good capture. Every hair in place and the colors are supurb. He must have a good hair stylist! I think this guy was on the truck at my last move! You should see the furniture damage! Tell him hi for me the next time you see him!

This really is a great shot of the Silverback Gorilla. I adore zoo animals. The sharpness and focus is excellent.
