"Reflections of Elvis"

Continuing the Memphis in May series...
This was shot on the Graceland tour - after being herded through the main mansion and wondering why you paid so much to see such a small home, you are treated to some add-on tours. This scene can be found at Elvis Presley's Auto Museum. Elvis was nuts about cars - this building houses his collection of automobiles. I don't know if this photograph was placed in this position on purpose, but it makes for an interesting shot of our hero (at least for the day at Graceland!) reflected in the well-waxed and shined hood of a 1973 Stutz Blackhawk.
This image is kind of like Memphis itself. Just about everywhere you looked there was a reflection of Elvis.
Have a great Tuesday! |
