[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was shot deep inside the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. The Peabody is arguably the most renowned hotel in all of Memphis. We could not get a room there for this weekend because of all the celebrities staying there. In a short 15 minute walk through I saw Jamie Foxx and a band called Three-Six Mafia. Of course, I didn't know any of them from Adam, but someone told me who they were.

The lights are practically non-existent in this hotel lounge. It's almost as bad as the Jungle Room at Graceland, without the bright windows there to really mess you up trying to hand hold without a flash. Therefore, some of the details are rather muddy in this shot.

Even though, I really like the symmetry of the space.

No ducks in this shot, though - we missed the ducks, so next time we will stay at the Peabody and get the ducks. Everybody loves the ducks! You could even buy some nice rubber rain boots with the ducks on them to wear to the Beale Street Music Festival. You'd have needed them, too!

So, getting down to the final few - hope you've found one or two of these images to like and if you consider visiting the US, go to Memphis for a great time!

Hey Reed, I love the light in this shot, and the symmetry! wow what a great looking place. The ducks? what about ducks? Did i miss something?
Anyway, I for one, have certainly enjoyed your Memphis shots, and you've sold me .. if I ever get a chance, I'll surely check it out.

WOW! one of the better interior shots I've seen on TL! This is nice. Excellent levels Reed! Nice and sharp! For me, perfect levels, VERY nice..I can see a hint of color here, superb!

hi Reed you ok buddy this shot has grt lighting the framing is excellent looks very upmarket you have captured the beuty of the hotel well they should use this shot on there brochures or web site it would make me book a cuople of night tfs

you & your images are a great ambassador for Memphis,this was no easy shot to take & you have done it more than justice,great details,I can see why this hotel was fully booked .Looks like an interesting city to pay a visit too for sure.
