Originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, this replica of the original Parthenon in Athens, Greece, serves not only as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture, but also as the City of Nashville's foremost art museum. The Parthenon is located in Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park, and attracts thousand of visitors each year and is probably one of the most photographed attractions in the City.
I have photographed this building so many times and so many different ways but I never get tired of it and always find a new angle. I shot this particular photo late afternoon. |

I can see why one could spend a day at this site. Has the look of a post card...nicely done.

wow linda, being an architect i appreciate this photo very much and i love to take a shot of this. The image is so sharp and as if I am looking at some architectural book cover.:)if this is a book cover the title is good but if not, your titles are kinda big and it is disturbing to your subject, but you deserved a 2 points for a great composition. have a nice day
