[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken in a "Texas Room". Actually, it was a room in a gret Bed and Breakfast in Austin. In this room I had moments of joy, dispair and meditation. Being away from home makes one think differently, not always for the better. I tried to capture the coldness of a rented room. Looking at the picture now I see contrasts of personal items as well as hotel ones, which actually makes the picture better than I had thought. Funny.

Nice image but the image seems slightley dark on my screen, i like the composition.

Welcome to TL! I like and understand the concept of your image... I also think it is a bit dark and lacks a little sharpness.

I think your photo shows the feeling of beeing in an impersonal and unfriendly place such as a rented room; according to me, this is due to the direction of the strong shadows and to the qualities of the objects you chose for your composition. Maybe the image is a little bit too dark, even though the darkness is a nice expedient to expess those kind of feelings.
But I like it!

Good composition, although common but interesting overlooked subject. The photo is too dark in my opinion so I did a workshop on it to improve the lightening. I hope you like it.
