Taken at the Dallas Downtown Aquarium. A neat place lots of birds, animals and fish. I don't remember what breed of monkey this was but he really liked to watch people, but tried to hide from them. I had to watch for a long time to catch him in the open.
Hand held shot(the vibration reduction really helps)croped about 40% and sharpened slightly.
I made no other adjustments. I hope you enjoy.

Looking at monkey in a tree
Monkey in a tree looking at me
I wonder what he's thinking
Might be that his fingers are stinking
Or could be that it's just be a sign
"Leave me alone this tree is mine"

Hi Jim, beautiful capture of this monkey, your waiting paid off as it is a great portrait. It's beautiful.

Amazing lighting and composition. A great wild life kind of photo! Beautiful! JP

Weird lookin sucka, ain't he? I think his uncle lives down the street from me! Great exposure and composition. Thanks for sharing his ugly mug with us. Poor guy, his fingers look like bones from a mummy!

Hi Jim, Love the poet in you! Still laughing. Judging from the position of his fingers, I think he is telling you that the tree is his! Your camera and lens are remarkable to give you this shake free clarity at 1/60... Your crop is good putting him to the left of the frame. I can't decide if those eyes are "soulful" or giving you a warning. Very nice post today.....:O)

Lovely image, fine detail and colors. Your composition is excellent. Bravo!
