I really like the background - it's very soft and a nice mix of pink and green. It's a shame the sharp flower is against pink, rather than green, but the depth of field looks well-managed.

The decision to put the flower all the way over on the right is an interesting one. Is there a particular reason you didn't use the rule of thirds? My eyes keep searching around the middle of the frame for something to focus on. It might look better if there was a bit more space on the right.

I was going to say perhaps a little more space on the right, but after reading your note to roball (hope you don't mind), I can understand the situation you were in. I like the macro shot of this lonely flower. Nice work.
