[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the State Fair of Texas, they hve lot of livestock competitions. All of the schools with FFA (Future Farmers of America) compete. It's nice to see the youth taking care of their respective cows. Their pride is very clear, and their anomals are wonderfully tended. Other farms bring animals too. This is a picture of the Cattle Building. There are a lot more animals there - horses, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, donkeys, etc...

I was struck by the simplicity of this yellow sign against the blue sky. The metal roof adds line and a neutral color. No editing other than a crop.

Nice shot. This buiding and sign does look good against that sky. Well seen. Ahhh...I can almost smell the cows! (barf) ;P

Yes, with the lights on it would be great, as well, but then you wouldn't see the nice sky - I like those clouds, they are a contrast to the more graphic look of the sign and building...

I am still laughing at the sign, for me this would be humor, as I was a former memeber of the FFA and spent too many hours at the State Fair tending to the animals. I guess the good thing about the photos is everyone has their view on how they see things.
