Here is my last train photo. Not a lot of post-processing here - just a crop, B & W conversion, hint of glow. Added border.

Hi Amy,
Nice shot. Good pp work. Like the contrast you have on this b&w. I like the composition, too. Like how the smoke stack, bell, headlight, and tag all line up in an arch. Cool.
Richard

Hi, Amy! I like the tones here, but it's a little bright for my taste in the more highly exposed areas. Still...interesting shapes and good composition!

Gayle :)

Amy,

I like the b&w and the shadows work well.

Hello Amy,

I love your POV here. Makes me feel like when I was a kid. Spent time around old trains just because and this really brought back memories. Very good focus and contrasts and the different textures show nicely in B&W. Well done once again!

Another interesting picture from your train series, Amy, but I have to honestly admit that it is not my favourite of the 3. I think the light played tricks with you on this one and it is too harsh on the front and it creates strange shadows. You have a good composition and a good eye for this object full of circles and a few other geometric forms. On a certain angle, it looks like a children train set which is fun. Well done!

Good photo.. nice idea.. I love this scene..
composition is the key of this photo..

Nice high contrast shot Amy. Nice details. I like your POV. I wonder how this shot would be in colour.
Bravo!

Hello Amy
C'est une bonne idée de l'avoir réalisée en noir et blanc, ambiance de l'époque.

Beautiful catch of sight Amy of this old steam engine. Her European sisters had the honor to transport my person in some stations.
