[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Fort Worth, Texas, Japanese Gardens.

1. Overcast day so I raised ISO to 400 to allow smaller aperture for DOF
2. Monopod for stability assistance (tripods not allowed in the gardens unless shooting as part of a camera club with reservations)
3. Luko's Sharpening
4. Three control points in Capture NX to open some shadows (tree trunk) and a bit in the red maple leaves at the top of the image. The colors were very saturated naturally but I did use a small bit of boost in the leaves.

Gorgeous sight and vivid colors; good exposure and well focused... The presence and position of the red tree adds a plus.

Nicely composed shot Bill, love the splash of colour in the foreground against all the shades of green. Well spotted image.

Hi Bill
This Chinese Garden is beautifully captured. The lighting is soft and shows off all the great colours in the garden. The Chinese Maple with it's red leaves is a great contrast to the greeney in the background. Nicely done.
