Wood Duck Contemplation
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was shooting a small waterfall (out of frame to the left) and just happened to notice the wood duck a bit downstream. I didn't have a longer lens to isolate and concentrate on the duck so I tried to capture a sense of the quiet location and the beauty of the wood duck within the environment.
Handheld @ 200mm on an overcast day (1/13 sec) so sharpness suffered a bit, even with the VR lens

Shadow 5; Bright 70; Contrast +25;

Ahhh beautiful Bill! I love woodducks! They are so handsome! I also like Harlequin Ducks, similar, but more rare here in Texas! Nice shot!
