[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is the color shot I took of the Landmark Pioneer Tower (samer building as yesterday's post). I processed the color version slightly different.

- duplicated layers
- selected section to cut out
- inverted background
- cropped layer copy and added shadow to make it look like a picture floating
- selected area around edge of background to darken to make a border
- flattened, resized for TL

I like what you did here, but in all honesty, I think I prefer just the original picture! Just because you have such a good composition, the type of compo I would take! And a great light as well. Just two different views of the same world. Isn't that what photography and art in general is all about? Thanks for sharing!

Amy,

Another very creative work and a cool idea. You are certainly talented. I am going to play with photoshop and see how it turns out.

TFS and the nice note.

very cool pp work
i like the presentation very much

Hello Amy,

I like what you have done here as well. Keep experimenting with your creativity. The composition is good and the lighting delightful. For a idea move the top layer frame to the left just a bit. It might be more pleasing to the eye if the building was not quite centered on itself. Anyway, cool and creative and very well presented. Keep it up.

Excellent PP work Amy. An original idea well executed. TFS, Paul.

Hi Amy,
What a beaut! Very creative using a negative image as a background/frame for the positive one on top. Like the drop shadows; they're dramatic. Well done.
Richard
