Ft. Worth Japanese Gardens

This is somewhat afield of my usual subject of landscapes but the quiet water with the simple ripples from the dripping bamboo set amidst all of the round shapes of the basin, the carving on the basin, the smooth round stones surrounding it and the oval opening of the bamboo juxtaposed against the sharp and angular bamboo pipe just caught my eye.

Monopod was used

Hi Bill,

I love Japanese Gardens, they are peaceful and relaxing and have many photo opportunities. I recently took some photos of our local gardens myself.

Nice capture, i like the soft rippling water against the roughness of the rocks. Great POV and love the aging bamboo also.

Tfs Tracey
