Beautiful shot, I like your crop. His eye is beautiful, and lovely face. And I have to say, excellent name. We had the most incredible cat named Simon who lived 14 years, our hearts were ripped out when he passed away in 2005.

Great close-up shot of your lovely friend, I'm amazed how beautifully his eyes are exposed. The details are also impressiv and needless to say - sharpness and clarity of this shot are excellent. I also like this crpping.
Recently, I also took a picture of my neighbour's cat from my balcony, I think I'll post it soon. :)

this is a superb close up of this beautiful creature. (he is the exact opposite of mr.A)

I've no idea what "vittles" are or whether I love them, but I do know I love this shot in spite of the subject matter :-)

In all seriousness has to be about the best catsnap I've seen, here or anywhere else. The close crop is original, daring and it works. The colours are lifelike, the image is sharp and the wee catchlight in his eye in the icing on the cake.

You were my neighbor today and i didn't even notice it until now. I love the close-up portrait of this cat. His eye reminds me of the marbles that I used to play with as a child. This led me on an extensive tangent (thanks for that...) and I found some very interesting information on cats' eyesight.

Thanks again. I am now going to have to dig up photos of my first cat, Blackie.

I didn't know richard is one of us (the cat lovers..)... so when I saw the theme kitties for kilted I had to go look...
what a cat, Linda! he has a perfect mouth indeed! I wish my two cats would sit still for 2 seconds like Simon...
this is an excellent cat portrait, original in the crop, with fantastic details, and a great light from the side...
one of the best cat portrait I saw so far on these pages.
