Hi Linda, Is that part of the road a tram? Looks like a quaint western town with the brick street.I rarely go to downtown Atlanta because, like Houston, there isn't any reason to go with shopping in the burbs!
I like the nice warm colors here Linda. The starting point for the pole "thingys" in the corner is nice. Interesting angles, lines, and patterns throughout. :) Lisa

Hi Linda:)
I don't have to tell you about driving my rig in downtown of any city..... well it is possible at many times, but about parking - ha ha, no way. So I know Huston only from road view in motion... most of my deliveries happen in I-10/I-610 area and lately I do not travel there at all, so that way it is so good to see what I can see on this image - look like beginning of some scary futuristic movie.
Anyway... all downtown is so much empty??? - if you come to Toronto, our downtown is always full of people but I know few remote spots that are totally empty as well.
Anyway this picture is talking!!! - a bit of reporting style here, as an HDR I like it - this way you have good light control, very clear view and really natural and contrasting colours.
Cheers - Tom:)

Olá Linda,
The presentation is very good, a real HDR. The text is an impressive meditation about our time and reality. "A quoi bon?"
Best regards.

Hi Linda,
At least you didn't have scads of human beings cluttering up your image! ;) We have the same thing in St. Louis - not a very vibrant downtown area. If there is a ball game or some other large event people will come, but not as a matter of course and definitely not to shop!
Nice pp, good dof and... hey wait, where's the train? No wonder no one is there, there's no train!
Have a great Tuesday!

hmmm...interesting, everywhere i go in the states is packed full of people, nobody around on a saturday even? i guess if the burbs have enough stores then yes why go downtown, its weird that its so dead, anyways cool shot, love the exposures and composition,

Hi Linda
Superb use of lead in lines, & diminishing linear perspective. Excellent pp work, & good color & light contrasts. I like the stepped pattern of the building tops. Tfs!

Nice POV and effective HDR Linda.. Shows the city well.. Shame it looks so empty - try Melbourne downtown on a saturday and you can't move for people (Melb, Australia that is) and that's also a very spread out city..
Cheers

Hi Linda,
Excellent cityscape, I like the brown tones contrasting with the grey sky and the vertical framing...

Hi Linda
In Prague in a brief visit to my friends I saw this wonderful cityscape full of charisma in the strong angles and colours and with a superb contrast and light.
Great work again.
Have a great we,
A big hug from Prague, mb
PS: Prague is an amazing city... I'm smashed
