Another dramatic evening recently here in Houston. We have had our share of heat this summer. Yesterday's heat index was 110. The humidity is stifling. But it gives storms in the afternoon, which lead to nice dramatic sunsets!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Linda

Olá Linda For Truth,
Really dramatic Sunset shot. Great colors and lightness.
Very good WE to you,
Raimundo

Linda this is a very atmospheric shot well captured very mood sky tfs
regards bryan

Hi Linda,
I shouldn't critique these types of photos while at work looking at a screen set for office work. it tricked me before.
Anyway, I love these types of sunsets where the dark clouds add that extra mood to the view. The deliberate under exposure worked great and gave you a nice silhoutted hill line. The 1/5th composition is superb. I like the line of blue sky at the top. but find the darkness above not adding much to the photo. (sorry can't really see if it is a frame or part of the photo or both)
TFS,
Niek

p.S. the photo reminded me of a storm I captured on the plains of Montana. (great memory)

Hello Linda,

Yes, this is a dramatic sky!
The warm sunset colours are perfectly sanwiched between layers of darkness.
It's moody, it's ominous, it could be the exciting setting for a movie ... take your choice!!
Well done!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Linda

Another superb sunset, with a dramatic tonal range, & excellent colour. I'm not sure about the grain in the upper part, although I realise it's pretty subjective. Stay cool over the weekend!

Hi Linda,
A dramatic shot indeed. I like the cooler tones at the top of the pic and the warmer colors in the sky just below. The silhouetted tree line adds to the drama. This looks like it have those darker clouds could have developed into quite a storm. Very nice weather shot.
Regards,
Kevin
