[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I normally don't like shooting into the sun, but I loved the shadow and the wings illumination. Just a little Blue Skipper to remind us that the end summer is drawing near.
Have a great day!
B-)
Linda

Hi Linder,
Ah-- look at his shadows, look at his details, look at those eyes ! Great macro here with nice natural colors. I did not know that was his name. Thanks for sharing, Julie

Yup,
The end of summer is near. Heavy overcast and rain was present today. But there is always Indian summer or similar in my country.
I like that you choose to shoot into the sun a lot. It gives the leave a wonderful metalic like effect. I'm impressed about the exposure control. So many would have gotten no details in the shadows and OE spots in the leaves. The details are most wonderful. The DOF could have been a bit better. I would have liked to more of the Skipper in focus.
TFS,
Niek

you held expoure well with this pov into the sun, very sharp and wonderful textures, as always very nice, big bad dog woof you say? haha...

Hi Linda,
A very fine capture, especially considering you were shooting into the sun. Looks well exposed, good sharpness too. I love the clearness here, can see the texture of the leaf so sharply. The focus seems nice and precise also - Great work.

TFS,
Scott.

Hey Linda,
Nice detail and color in the blue skipper. I think the texture in the leaf looks great as well. I also like the shadow on the leaf. The picture looks great for shooting into the sun. Nice work.
Regards,
Kevin

Beautifully captured Linder, and I just love seeing his bushy top-knot - quite cute. It shows up so well.
Very good focus and sharpness, that lens has done a good job. Good details and shadows too
