Hey, this is a great shot. I love all of the colors. The "Thank You" sign is an interesting element. Along with that little bit of the neon sign you can see. TFS!

Hi Sothy,
The bold colors caught my eye, and I like the contrast between the shadows and the illumination on what she is studying, reflecting to her face. This is also appealing because I like to work with both hot and cold drinks nearby!

Very nice work!
The management of available light is superb, it's very sharp given your slow shutter-speed (the very large aperture will have helped) and the colours are varied and rich.
Composition is great, you've placed your subject well within the frame. It's an interesting moment well captured.

I like this colourful and well composed picture, although it leaves me with some questions...
The colour is somewhat oversaturated, was this due to the camera-settings or did you do any post-processing ? From the picture-info I learned that this was taken with ISO800 setting. In that case I would expect some grain. Is the camera that good ;-) or did you clean up afterwards ?
Anyway, the result is worth to be framed (or sold ?)

Ah.. I remember only too well. When going to Uni, I would study on the bus, the train, between lectures etc. Good capture of the concentrated look on her face. Tfs!

Students should come with labels attached saying: "for optimum study performance please add copious amounts of caffeine." Hehe, very classic American shot of a modern student doing what she does best ;) I love the super high contrasts and those bright rich colors, everything just pops out! And the framing for this is excellent because the way you included the "Thank You" sign above at the top left balances so well with the student at the bottom right, and it also gives great context. Wonderful use of artificial lighting and I like how there are so many different colors and shapes: the green seat of the chair; the blue at the bottom left corner; the reds on the floor base, pole and skirt the student is wearing; the purples and blues in the background in the lower left and bright in the neon sign behind the "Thank You" and the hanging pendant lamp above her. There is just so much going on but it's so balanced and unified. Great point of view and perfect the way the student and her table and Sprite bottle are illuminated the most. Looks like she may be there for quite a while ;) Was this a Starbucks or something, or an indie coffee shop? I wish we had more indie coffee shops here. Excellent shot, TFS!
