| A friend of mine, Moeko, is nice enough to let me take a few of her photos. It was taken at around just before the sunset. The light is kind of pretty though during that time. What I really like the most in this picture is the mood shown in this photo. She does look like pondering something... |

The mix of light temperatures in this shot is really appealing - from orange and pink on her face to blue-tinted.
I like the unusual side angle view of her and the strong saturation of the shot, especially the colourful background bokeh.

"Many good portraits are just not good enough because the background basically spoils the beauty. I've seen so many beautiful images of people that didn't really work because the background distracted me in one way or another. The trick is to find something that helps your subject to really stand out or to find a background that actually adds something to the person(s) you are portraying.
