[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken standing on the steps at the back of my house. I've had this picture around for several months and never posted it. I like the sky in the original (click here to view), but the foreground was too dark. This version I used the flood filter on to add the water. This filter is too much fun :-) I used fade correction; multiple clarifys; USM; neat image, added a frame.

What a view you have Stephen. It's marvelous. I haven't tried the flod filter yet but it seems like a lot of fun. The pp work is really good. Just as you say, the origional is a bit dark in the foreground. But that's what pp is for right, just look at my "profile" pic, way to dark in it's origonal form :)

The flood filter is indeed a brilliant way of replacing the dark foreground in the original shot. Once again you are making a superb result out of a good photo with just the right amount and kind of post-processing. Very well done, Stephen.

Wow, great PP work, Stephen, but first of all it's an excellent photo. Wonderful dramatic sky, amazing smooth water surface and aa great work with the clarify tool. IMHO, it's the best carify work on a nature shot. a great job.

Thats great; very effective pp, its really justified that excellent sky. I'll have to try this sometime... great work.

WOWOWOWOW! Stephen you are right. This filter is really great. What package did you use? I will start a new discussion for this, as it will definately come in useful for some of my own shots. The effect is fantastic.

Fantastic outlook of another world Stephen! My admirations for the bright idea you had - the water filter lights up the foreground and brings even more perspective. I love it!

Superb! Your postprocessing works really fine. Water and reflections are very well rendered. The whole picture feels still natural. Good idea and very well managed.
