Took this shot at the local college. The tulip trees are blooming. My daughters and I were at the campus trying to take some photos.

Very nice detail in this shot. Good color and exposure. A lot is going on in the background so a tighter crop may help isolate the fine detail you have captured. TFS

Hello Stephen!
Great colours and textures, beautiful flower and your photo! Like it a lot, TFS and best wishes,

Hello Stephen,

Wonderful colour, detail, sharpness and excellent DoF achieved in this impressive image.

Kindest Regards

Hi Stephen

A very impressive picture with really good detail. The most outstanding feature is the background of more buds.

Well Done

Hi Stephen,
I didn't know that tulip could grow in trees. It's very nice to learn that with a very nice photo with great colors and sharpness. TFS

Spring is sooner in Texas. I would have to wait almost 3 months to see that scene!

Hi Stephen, I love these trees. But I would also call it a magnolia tree. They are deciduous and they bloom in the middle to late winter before the leaves appear.
This is a beautiful capture of the flower beginning to open. Wonderful colours and sharpness, and it looks especially good against the blue sky...
Thank you for sharing it with us,
Janice
