Dear Stephen, wonderful composition with wonderful colours. I like how you are clearly within the rule of thirds here. Only thing I have to critique in a bad way is the jpg compression which is way too high !!! The contrast of tree and sky is great :) Yours, Jan

I think the silhouette shot turned out very well, I can see some of the fog through the fence. I think if you were to take another shot just like this one but open the fence and use the tree to the left and the fence post to the right to frame the shot it could be even better. The colors of the sky are excellent thanks for sharing.

I think your experiment has worked out extremely well. Its a great silhouette you achieved here, along with a lovely view, and colours. Like the framing with the tree, and the use of the gate to make up this composition.

I'm hoping you also took some shots of the mist :)
