[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

The moon has a face like the clock in the hall;
She shines on thieves on the garden wall,
On streets and fields and harbour quays,
And birdies asleep in the forks of the trees.

The squalling cat and the squeaking mouse,
The howling dog by the door of the house,
The bat that lies in bed at noon,
All love to be out by the light of the moon.

But all of the things that belong to the day,
Cuddle to sleep to be out of her way;
And flowers and children close their eyes
Till up in the morning the sun shall arise.

- Robert Louis Stevenson

I took this one in a hurry. I was picking up my daughter at my sisters house and called her on her cell phone. She asked me to wait while she brushed her teeth. I looked up and saw this beautiful full moon. I took my camera and tripod from the back seat of my truck (it's always handy), :-) and took a few shots.

In a way they say less is more.
Wel I can tell you there is no less in this picture.
You can only talk aboute more.
The mood, contrast, just the idee, end doing it.

This is beautiful - The moon in the web. Gradient sepia light adds much to the overall mood.

Very nice bright full moon, I like the silhouetted tree branches in front. Great work for just a few quick shots.

Excellent! The moon was especialy brightfull yesterday when she wake up! I love your composition! Moon is clear even if that kind of contrast is violent! With this cloud halo it make a good effect!

So good Stephen. I like the tittle you gave to it .... Midnight Sun.
It has mistery.

Nice composition. It is ok dark by the sides.

Pamela

this is a great shot of the moon--- i have seen so many but this is by far the most unique----the branches covering the moon and it being full---mysterious and haunting
