Another shot from almost the same location as the previous post. The fog was so thick it almost blotted out the morning sun. It was a mystical looking morning. Very gorgeous time of day.

I like this picture. But I have the feeling that the black foreground is taking too much importance compared with the upper par of the picture where all the interest lies.
I would suggest that you crop the bottom part of it. It will enhance the most appealing part of it whoch is the sky, the branches and the sun.
I am posting a work shop.

Hi Stephen,
You've captered the fog nicely. I like the colors and DOF. It's a very dreamy/ mystical image. Congrats!

What is there to say except I love it? Mystical, yes. Spooky in a way also....but lovely. Beautiful composition....:O)

I would like to have this hanging on my wall! It just strikes me in the right place. The light the dark with the fog and those mystical places in-between.
It represents the two sides of the soul and the fog that a majority of humanity is in. The sun representing the beacon to get through the fog. Great Capture.

This is a lovely shot. Usually, the tree in front usually bugs me, but, this time it doesn't. I think it works because of the tree in the back to the right...almost looks like it's reaching out to it. I like the effect of the fog on the sun...a picture like this always makes me think..."brrrrr." One suggestion I have it to shift your composition just a bit. I would liked to have seen the horizon line lowered just a bit...maybe lose half (approx 1 to 1.5") of the really dark area at the bottom--not all of it...and maybe trim a bit of the right side to keep the image to its proportions. Other than that....good job.

Beautifully atmospheric shot. Almost mystical. Love your composition and the colour just enhances the shot. Well done.

An extraordinary moodscene Stephen. I love it, though an evening scene suits me more ;-)

And this photo is another superb one. You are clever with the fog.
The brightness of the sun and its warm colour adds to this pic.

Take care. Yan :)
