| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
When I saw the way the evening sun was hitting the trees, I ran and grabbed the camera. Once in position I noticed the rainbow. The structures at the bottom of the rainbow are part of a Natural Gas well they have drilled directly behind my Mother's house. She's still waiting for the first payment, so we'll see if there really is a pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow. I included the tree on the left because it is the same tree photographed in Water World, Foggy Morning, and in Foggy Morning II.
Post-processing: very little: bumped up hue/sat, NeatImage, and added frame |

Excelent shot and well composed.
this reminds me a photo op, I missed out on, cept, the field was yellow, I think canola, but the same kind, sun shinning, dark clouds and a rainbow.
Awesome shot.
Mike
Great catch! You probably need to straighten the horizon, as so many on this site have instructed me! I like your note and frame, too.

Awesome scene here Stephen, especially with your rainbow and the lit up tree tops. Well done.
