[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There was a major Thunderstorm blowing up today and I snapped some pictures of the clouds building up. I have to admit...I went a little crazy with the PP.

Here's the original (no PP): Click Here

Here's basically what I did:

PSP 8.0 - fade correction; several clarifies (this has a tremendous effect on clouds); USM; ran through NeatImage; Reflecting Mirror filter; added frame; ran through NI one more time

Wow! This is fabulous! Excellent processing work! The result is really amazing and beautiful! The mirror effect in the sky and the symetry between the trees are fantastic! Absolutely well done! Great piece of art as far as I am concerned! Bravo! TFS! Michel

Wooow... Excellent, this is a kool pp work, amazing cloud, is very symetrical and the colours is great! Very well done, thanks for sharing

p.s I have PSP 8.0, but I don't seem to find the filter you mention "Reflecting Mirror filter" is that how you make the wave on the water? is it in the Effect section?

Well, that's what TLs for, very effective and certainly an image which conjures up your title.

wow! the PP works really made the photo looks so dramatic and extreme.. very nice actually.. i like it... looks more like a painting.. very nice... thanks for sharing.

Great effect coating an already great composition of cloud! I can see a mystic sit on a dragon. He his the gardien of the other world...
Great one!

You went a little crazy but what a great final vision, Stephen!
I feel that the thunderstorm is devouring everything and that it comes from the inner earth.. the hue you chose enhace that feeling..and I can see an ugly face in the center too..
Well done!
Marisa

Very impressive sky Stephen. Looks like the rains came and left a flood. I like the colour tones on the overall image. Very creative work. I like how the part of the tree frames the left and right side of the composition. The cloud in the middle, at the bottom where it touches the 'flood' part looks like a person's face. I see a faint outline of 2 eyes, and a big nose; or maybe I've had too much caffeine this morning :)

Mind you, the workshop version looks pretty good also. With a bit of "normal" PP work that would be a great post. But of course, this mad mirrored vision of something out of Lord of the Rings is fantastic, especially considering the starting point. Great imagination there, Stephen.

Unbelievable when we see from where you came (original pic) to obtain this. I'm not really a fan of the effects rendered by the association of the clarify tool and neat image, but I have to confess you've got an extraordinary and surreal atmosphere.

What a fantastic pp work you've done here!!! I am really amazed by it! This is a dream work! Congratulations on this one Stephen! You really surprised me with this one!!!!!!!!!!
