[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I titled this photo because of the heavy post-processing and digital experimentation. This is a small rock dam/waterfall on our property. It was constructed by a Government work program sometime in the 1930's - 1940's. I'm posting the original as a WS or you can click here to see the result of the heavy post-processing.

PP: PSP 8.0 - Fade correction; clarify twice; USM (default values), Salt&Pepper Filter; Soft Focus (twice); clarify tool again several times; added frame

Wow Stephen! Those PP experiments are really turning out well. I think you are as found of PP as i am ;). I think the origional was nice but after having seen this it does loose a bit of it's briliance. I'm stunned by the effect.

Great picture, with mastery in PSD!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! :) I liked a lot

The original is very good, excellent framing, sharpness, everything but hte way you post process this shot...hum, masterpiece, fantastic! It looks like a waterfall taken from "Final Fantasy" the movie or the computer game! Is really something...Strong water you created here! Lçovely frame too!

well done!

Nice effect, this has quite a magical feel produced by the unnatural looking colours, i like this more than the orignal. Good work.

l'effet de l'eau est superbe, j'aime beaucoup!

The original shot is beautiful and pristine in its own right (and would be very good TE fare, I guess). But it is really dwarfed by the great results of your "HPP". Really stunning; you did a great job, Stephen.

Excellent PP, indeed, but still we have to give also some credit to the camera work (and to the camera man) - the slow speed makes this shot. In total - a great scomposition, very well captured, processed and framed. Very well done.

You achieved an amazing result starting from an allready excellent picture. Really impressive from all points of view.

Great results you've obtained with this post-processing. Looks like liquid-metal.

Well, well this is an impressive PP work. I don't mind the orginal, but here it surreal, bravo.

Stunning effect, and very useful PP notes. I will try PP same on a waterfall that I have. Thanks,

Lance
