[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ok here is an experiment. I know we all have those pictures that would have been great if they were perfectly focused, but for whatever reason the shot didn't come out right and we have lost the moment forever. This is one of those pictures. So I decided to see if I could capture the mood in a different way in order to aleviate the need for a sharply focused picture.
I also wanted to create an image that you might have to look at for a minute before your brain really sees what the picture is. I always have been a fan of artists who make your brain do some consturctive work before you realize what is in the picture.

Technical note:
Original was a black and white pic. I will post it as a workshop.
1.Applied filter Glowing edges.
edge width 4
edge brightness 11
edge smoothness 5
2.Adjusted contrast to my liking
3.Added lens flare 50-300mm zoom at
100% brightness.
All comments and critiques are greatly appreciated!

Critiques [Translate]

hi John, i find this highly artistic. Yeah..it took me more than a min to figure it out. Great post work, i think your experiment is a success.

The moment is back in this shot. Like the contrast and taking the time to appreciate. Good one!
