Alice's Butterfly

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
- From "Alice in Wonderland"
Here is the original. I used PSP 8.0 to clarify, automatic hue/saturation enhancement, USM, and finally the "Reflective mirror" effect. |

Hey, good to see you back again ;) Hope you are doing fine.
Well, the photo stand wellon it's own too i mist say. It is a good capture you have done. With those words from Alice in Wonderland though, your posp process makes all the sence ;) Good job Stephen.
Have a great evening.

Hi Stephen, what a beautiful and funny artwork, you've created here, I saw the original, a new insect, nice detailed and colours, it is like a statue. And the words from Alice are very nice with it.
I love what you have done to the original, it took me a while to realise what you had done as I mistook it for two caught in the act, rather than a massaged original (shows how good your massaging is).
I looked at the original as well and it is as good, if not better, than most of the posts on TrekNature. Love the fact that you have managed depth of field perfectly with crisp and sharp colours.
tres bon
Hello Stephen,
The result of your heavily post-processed picture came out really well. Very sharp subject and a good DOF.

Very creative. Like the Alice references in note. I could see so many different images in the wings.

Well done. I love these mirror image, like i have done with my cactus. This one here produce an interesting 'natural' pattern. Nice, ans superb light.
Seamless post processing Stephen, very nice work.
