Hi Shelby its been a while since I have followed your work, this is very nicely done.
Good POV and detail obtained in your subject, Colors are vibrant in the bird.
Your Dof on the BG is well done, I do find however the branch to the left of the bird a bit distracting.

Hello Shelby, nice shot of this VERY PRETTY bird! The perch is very interesting and at a nice diagonal. Very good detail on the birds head area...eye is very clear and visible with a nice light in it giving it life. I like the diagonal composition to. Very nice shooting Shelby!

This is a very nice specie of bird, so colorful! I like this POV you had and those nice details you caught. The light in its eye is beautiful. My only nit is that it would have been nicer if you could have caught it whole body. If not, a portrait's crop would have been nice too. Thanks,

Nice one, Shelby, although may I suggest you include the whole tail in your composition the next time. Or if you want to crop, zoom in from its chest area and up to its head. It would enhance the image more in my opinion. But you did well on the exposure and recognition of light here. TFS!
