Gathering airpseed before going to climb a beach Duke flys runway heading Runway 03 SAT into a slight headwind the wind was from the north but the cool front is taking temps from 100 farenheit plus to the lower 90s.

Hi Estaban...This shot could have been sharper but I have great feelings for the Duke...I owned one for a year from 1990 to 91...flew it about 300 every expensive hours. This plane is Fast and was very dangerous before the advent of Vortex Generators (which mine did not have)...very poor glide ratio, very fast landing speed and required a lot of runway in hot weather...if an engine failure occurred on take off (before VG's) you could almost not recover....anyway a beautiful artistic plane which was the sexiest twin on the market.
