Lily petal

Almost done with the lilies! I took this one with the same studio lighting: one light high and to the right of the frame and a reflector low and to the left. I wanted to emphasize the graceful curve of the petal.
I left the background petals in on the bottom left, but I'm not sure if they distract too much. I did clone out the head of a stamen in the bottom right corner.
For post-processing, I adjusted just exposure and contrast.

think it would be better without the lower petals if your aim was to concentrate on the graceful shape.good amount of dof keeps the interest.
I love the light and the geometry here Scott
I don't know if the sharpness or DOF is what it could be, but the overall effect of the white on black and the colour temp of this is very nice, and to me it's a pleasing shot.
