[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken during a photowalk in January. I went to the local community college (McLennan Community College) which has a wonderful art center. The sculpture garden is not locked and is expressly stated as open 24 hours; lovely place for some late night photography.

I was enamored with this statue of and old man, his hands on his knees. I don't know why it captured me so. I must have spent 45 minutes just shooting him.

Post-processing done in LightRoom2:
* + Blacks
* + contrast
* burned in the left side of frame to emphasize the shadows.
* sharpened

Scott, this made me think of our trip to California last year. While there we made a trip out to Stanford University to see their Rodin collection. I imagine your photo to be "the thinker as an old man."

Great framing and love the light and shadow.

Hello Scott,
How are you???
Really an imaginative shot,
When you first see this photo your brain starts to make story from it,
I guess this is a man who is suffered from the mean rituals ,Failure in life and crumbling relationship and all these things made him as strong as stone...
I like the light coming from left and making a pleasant shadow..
Good job,
Kind regards,
Vaibhav....

After 45 minutes of being shot he should certainly be dead :-) he does have personaloty and your shot had brought that out with the nice side lighting Good job
warm regards
David
