OK, we'll try this again.

This was one of the "warm up" shots from the session. I don't usually say anything off the bat, but I didn't like Marc being turned away from the camera, but since this was one of the first, I thought I'd just shoot it so everyone got comfortable.

I do like Ashley's expression, though. Too bad I cut off her fingers.

Tomorrow, I think I'll wrap up this particular set up with a pull-back shot.

The light here is great, nicely diffuse, and it's beautifully clear on Ashley - who is, without doubt, the subject of this photograph. Marc may get a cursory mention in the title, but his presence in the frame is largely incidental, to give context to her smile and glance, rather than an appearance in his own right.

Agreed about her fingers, had you thought of cropping it into a landscape format - crop from just above her hands, and just above Marc's head, it would give you a more intimate but potentially nicer shot?
