Lake Waco Sunset
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Back to the trip to Lake Waco.
Come evening time, we had a wonderful sunset. Unfortunately, I couldn't really find anything to shoot. I hope the colors in the sky and the patterns in the water are enough to carry the image.
Saturated a touch, sharpened, and vignetted -- that's it. (Oh, and it's hand-held at 1/30s)
Here's a version with the tree branch cloned out. Whoops, I posted the wrong one! |

Scott,
I really love sun (rise | set) photos over lakes. There is a certain peacefulness that sets in. The only thing that prevents this from being a flawless capture is the branch in the upper left side of the photo. Since it isn't adding anything to the composition I would just have aimed a little farther right. See workshop for cloned version.
