[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm usually surprised at how well my older son poses for photos. Most of the time he really nails posing without much direction from me. In this instance, however, he missed.

Light was from the large patio doors facing the setting sun to the west and from an overhead ceiling fan with compact fluorescent bulbs. Talk about a tricky adjustment - getting the fluorescent bulbs and the sun to balance was challenging.

Post-processing:
* Cropped a little
* Adjusted yellow, orange, and red saturation
* Pulled blacks out a little
* Adjusted contrast to compensate
* Clarity / Vibrance / Saturation adjustments

Goofy perhaps, but successful! Great shot - the light here works well, it's not "perfect" but it's better than that - it's interesting. DOF is well managed. Colours are good. Composition works well.

I like
Rew

Hello Scott
hope you are doing well.
interesting shot and fine expressions, like the sharpness here and well managed light. Agree with Rew here

What a cutie! I love the dimples. DOF is good, Sharpness is good...nice picture. TFS :)

I do find that this is a very nice portrait. The eyes are well focus, bringing all the attention to the "regard".

Well exposed, with good tones. Althought I favor stronger blacks, at the end it's a matter of personnal choice, not a mistake...)))

Same with color, I just think human skin are naturally warmer then colder..)) Put your own hand next to the shot...and you'll see.

Keep on shooting and Cheers...)))
