Good idea adding color to the water with food coloring, I would have never thought of that for a water droplet shot. What is the blobby thing under the water right below the drop? It makes a really cool orange-brown color in the droplet itself, which makes it stand out against the green. Very sharp and excellent clarity. The colors are beautiful. I do find that the flowers, especially so brightly colored, distract a bit from the water droplet and thus take away from the focus on the subject and the balance. I would have done a more vertical crop to emphasize the upward motion of the droplet, as well as change your vantage point so that you are slightly lower, looking at the drop at a 60 degree angle so that you can get the droplets themselves in-focus. Since the surface of the flat water is more in-focus. Hope that makes sense, I am sorry I am not very eloquent today :P. Excellent shot though and really great results, it was worth all the effort.

great catch! Very good details and nice colours. I love water droplets :) Don't worry about ended uu with only two passable photos out of many. It happens to me all the time, and almost funny, the first shot is the best one :) Strange, isn't it?
