[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was experimenting with light and portrait shots (before I try of anyone else, working just on myself).

I didn't really like any of my shots, but then I kept thinking of the saying "the eyes are the window to the soul" and I thought well, I could use just my eye as my self portrait... and I was looking out a window...

Self-portraits are a nuisance, especially with a p&s camera, Jeannette. I think you miss some sharpness here, and to me the reflection of the window is a bit distracting as well.
There is also a set of stray pixels near your iris.

Hey, a couple of years ago we had a "lashes" thing going on here on TL. Maybe you can do something with that?
See: theme and a clue.
Anyway, TFS
