Okay, let me explain :)

I created this image on top from the two images on the bottom. Don't ask me why, boredom I guess...The mom is my friend Jamie, who will probably kill me when she finds out I put this on the Web. The beautiful baby is her new son, (1 month old today 1 September) Tyler. I took this when he was about 3 days old.
Techs:
I used Tyler's image as the background layer, flipped the image of Jamie's face horizontally, dragged it onto babie's layer, transformed to fit just right, added a couple of selective color and curve adjustment layers to match the skin tones, erased with a soft eraser, what I didn't need of Jamie's face and added a slight drop shadow to show depth...I think it turned out great! Any comments/ suggestions welcome!

Very disturbing, but in a good way :) You've matched the skin tone perfectly (really hard to do - especially when we see how different they were). However I think masking out part of the face, to have it covered with the sheet(?) like the picture of the baby, would have been more effective than the drop shadow. Still a great post-process job. :D

Really well done ! A great demonstration of a post treatment.
How do you realize the "slight drop shadow" ?
Congrat for this work ! (it's funny)

LoL nice modification. My dad switched the face of me and my girlfriend once and it scarred me for life but luckily this pic isnt of me so its alright ;0) Good work

Phil

Funny, very funny!
Great job.

I've always heard "Oh, she looks just like her Mommie..." and well, after a reality shot, I am glad she doesn't! This is just too cute..in a strange sorta way...but you sure did a great job in your post-process. TFS

?????????
Honestly don´t know what to think here Stacey...i mean...it´s a great post-process work and you managed to get your goal here and it really matches the "looks like mummy" mood ;))) but..i don´t know...it brings me some weird feelings...almost like some fiction mouvies...not sure if the global feeling here is too positive on me, if you know waht i mean...

Anyway...that mum and that litlle sweet thing are beautiful, only them here and i would love this for sure :)

You have done an excellent job here, really. Excellent job!

Stacy,

Oh yeah, I have gotten myself in trouble big-time doing this. The comment of Philip above is from my son. He likes your picture but neither he nor his girlfriend appreciated my 'workmanship' too much in their pictures. What he didn't tell you was that with his girlfriend's face on his body, he was good looking for once...ha ha! Hope you 2 are still friends after she sees it. God's best to you. For the record, I love it! :o)

Tim

I would 'kill' you too! Work like this one is infinite in possibilities. See http://www.lecornichon.qc.ca/journal/journal.html as exemples (you will not recognise the personalities, but the work is there). For your picture, I feel some discomfort to tell it, but i don't like the exercice & end result, it does'nt make honor either to the nice baby or the mother.

Amazing PS work, one can not see any difference in skin tone. The idea is odd, I must say.

Stacey, I don't hope Jamie will kill you for this montage. You did well, I think it is a funny picture. Wait another 12 years, and tell us what Tyler thinks of it when he sees it...
I agree with Gabriel about the shirt, but the drop shadow you applied works well too. TFS.

Great post processing here. It is a little spooky but in a funny way!

It's quite an incredible picture...makes me feel a little weird, but then there is nothing wrong with that to provoke a reaction, better than some of the banality that gets posted. Thanks for taking the risk to post this, I guess you could have changed the names to protect the innocent...but heck, the results are stunning.

really, really scary!!! Amazing shot.. so well done.. it is seamless

Exceptional work ! WOAW ! Incredible !
