[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well, here he is...This is Tiernan, the son of one of my best friends, Tiffany. It's his very 1st birthday party and is being held at Hooters!!! It was time for birthday cake and we were all standing around waiting for him to dig into it (all you parents out there know you want your kids to do it too their first year :) I guess the pressure got to the little guy and he started crying, so Tiffany (his mom) put just a taste of frosting on his lips...
Here is the breakdown of what I believe was going through his mind-photo by photo:

1. (Green frame) "Mama, Why is everyone looking at me???"
2. "Huh? That's not bad..."
3. "Maybe I'll try some more"
4. "Yummmmmmy"
5. "You guys behave and I might let you have some too!"
6. "Okay, I was wrong, you were right!!!"
7. "That's it, no more playing around, this whole thing is going in my mouth!!!"
8. "Cake, Cake everywhere squish, squish, squish.."
9. "This is the best day of my life! I should turn 1 every year!"

I was originally going to make a collage with only 3 of these images for the "Three (3) steps" Scavenger Hunt but I couldn't pick only 3 images, so I ended up using 9 :) Oh well...

I originally shot all images in color then turned to grayscale. I added just a splash of color in each image up until the last one (Red Frame) when I added a lot of color. It was fun to do. I hope everyone atleast gets a smile from it. He is so expressive and sweet.

Hi Stacey, I think you did an excellent work showing Tiernan's expressions... this is funny =) and nice work with PS. Regards.

One can see you worked a lot on both collage and note, Stacey. And it paid off. Only thing is, I find the sequence you have mounted the photos in a little disturbing, but I guess I am just being conservative and not used to how comic strips can be presented today. The use of greayscale and full color in the last shot is brilliant.

Oh, this is wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Great work on both the photos, and the layout. Well done.
I can't find the colour in No.2 photo. Do I need new glasses!
2 smileys isn't enough for this one.

That is what make us happy ! Follow the hapiness of our kids is great. Enjoy every step of yours.

Well Stacey, that is a very good montage (lot of work)... and it is so funny... With that photo you reminded me some souvenirs with my own kids.

This is absolutely fantastic! No words can describe the expressions on his face! The fourth photo is my favorite one, with his little tounge sticking out! Very imaginative how you selectively left one colour in each frame showing, until the end.

Definitely a favorite!

9:3=3. Could have been 3 entries for the hunt, Stacey... a pity only 1 entry is allowed.
Excellent work you accomplished. Funny comment, but I especially like the way you kept all these small images very sharp. This is a document for which people will be grateful later! Well done & TFS.
