An experiment

Made with photos I took of my very best friend Tiffany. She had just received a makeover & wanted images to remember it by...Taken the same day as the photo I used for Tiffikaso. Just like in that one, I can't resist & I had to use a play on words to name this "Tiffan-Emotions" since she's showing 6 different emotions and well...her name is Tiffany :D

PS7 Work_________________
Worked on each photo individually...
Turned each to Grayscale & tweeked a lot using adjustment layers (curves, levels, hue/sat, bright/cont...)
Then made a gradient layer in overlay mode on each, choosing a color to fit the "mood" of her portrait.
Dragged each onto this new large canvas
Gave each photo a stroke (border) effect & drop shadow, you might notice that the shadows aren't all falling in the same direction. I wanted them to point towards the middle, larger B&W photo just to try something "out of the ordinary" :) Please tell me what you think

stacey, she looks terrific...i like the way u differentiate her moods with colours, this way it became graphical, also gives me a retro feel. thanks for sharing!

Hey look! It's Tiff! The sailors sailor! I like what you did with all the individual photos here. It seems as if the center photo is a "main light source" for all the other photos around it. But because of that, I disagree with your drop shadow treatment. I think they should be shadowed away from the center. The other thing is the rigid setting of the photos. I probably would have varied them all differently in size, and slightly overlapped them off of the main photo a little more. But overall, nice group of pics, I'm sure she will be pleased.

Terrific collage Stacey ..how many expressions captured here..I agree on the middle one ..That's the most striking one, like the B/W and the other tones ..makes the collage excellent !!

She's a true beauty Stacey, except in the lower middle photo... the lines in her face are a bit too harsh for me there. Excellent PP work though, I especially like the different colours in her hairdo ;o). Excellent work, TFS!

Love the title! Might also have been 'Tiffany-motions'...
Must have been a big job, but worth the effort. Love the use of colors. The lower 3 pictures are imo the best, cutest, most expressive ones! Your best friend? You never tiff with her? If you do, does she take tiff? Of course you can take a tiff of beer over it afterwards, so your tiff will be over...

Excellent idea, execution and very fine pp infos! Your idea was excellent! Very nice Stacey!

superb study of emotions

Each photo deserves recognition. I like the way you have captured different expressions, and then applied the colour to each of them. My favourite one is the one in the middle. I like the high-key contrast and white background. The drop shadows are very imaginative, and really suits the layout of this composition. Well done, you did a fantastic job.
