[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After looking at my last work with this leaf, I though that there was a much better use of it than just playing with different settings, so I sat down to try my hand at representing different seasons in an illustrative way. Tomorrow I will post the original leaf for workshops to see what others can come up with.

Tech: This is done with PS7 using Hue/Saturation and Selective color for each of the three corners over a leaf cutout, for the shadow, and a white background. The original leaf was scanned in using a microtech flatbed scanner and was about five inches accross.

craig! i am impressed:-) ! wow wow! what a pro! your ws is perfect for me! i wish i knew how to do that.. how do you get this frame on the leaf? to insert three black squares? thru layers? ...?? thanks if you can help me grasp some more tricks on PS;;;-)

Fantastic work! The detail is very good on the leaf and the "frame" is very creative and add so much to the shot.

Where is winter Craig? 3 out of 4 isn't bad. I like what you have done here especially the season fall well done PS7 work, the framing around the seasons if you will is well thoughtout.

Nice photo Craig. I like the idea. Well done.

Very clever PP work to create an eyecatching picture. Was the non symmetrical approach to the dividing lines intentional? Whether it was or not I think it adds something to the picture, and works well.
Thanks for sharing
