The Old and the New

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Two Cape Henry Lighthouses stand at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. George Washington approved the building of the lighthouse that was the first to be built entirely by the new U.S. government under the new Constitution and was completed in 1792. In 1872 it was decided that a new tower had to be built when the first suffered damage during the Civil War and more cracks showed up later.
The Cape Henry Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Hi Denny,
Not every place like this has two lighthouses they both look stunning especially against that sky. The colours are very good and the details are very sharp I like your border well done.

Jon
