Osprey 1

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Osprey, sometime known as a sea hawk, is a diurnal fish-eating bird of prey. It is a large raptor, reaching 60 centimeters (24 in) in length with a 1.8 meters (6 ft) wingspan. The Osprey tolerates a wide variety of habitats, nesting in any location near a body of water providing an adequate food supply. In my area along the intercoastal waterways, it loves to make it home/nests on top of the Aids to Navigations. The nests can obscure the aids so we check on them from time to time… Caught this one coming in for a landing on its nest…

very clear, very sharp, moment well captured.

Great moment you catched here, and nice POV. But I think it seems that it was slightly out of focus and you used the sharpening tools a little too much (the borders have a different look)?

Hi Denny - my favourate bird of prey caught in all its splendour. I think the croping around the feathers on its left wing is a bit to sharp, try running the blur tool around this to break it up and blend in. Framing again is brilliant. TFS
