[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From the last photography "Saint Luke's Church" I liked the main entrance of Christ and Saint Luke's Episcopal Church. The door and entrance consisting of a drop-arch double door topped by a blind transom. Carved stone quatrefoils ornament the spandrel. The door is encased in a highly ornamented frame, and the janbs are decorated with mid-relief carvings, including statues of St. Peter and St. Paul which occupy niches to the left and right of the door.
Post processed with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 to sharpened, enhanced brightness and contrast. Cropped, resized and added border for TrekLens. Your comments and critiques are as always welcome.

Hi,

Not sure if it was the post processing but the whites or rather the bottom half of the photo seem to be "over-exposed" in contrast with the top half.

However having said that, I absolutely adore the ornamented frame and to think it's all carved out by hand :-)

Great composition

Hi Denny,

The stone work is very ornate and to me looks like sandstone which is easier to carve. The carving is very ornate but the door is plain but nice. A shot well taken but with a little oe I do like the shades and tones with this one.TFS

Jon
