NorShipCo, Titan floating dry-dock, on the Elizabeth River in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.
Since the arrival of the Titan dry-dock in 1979, Norfolk Ship Repair has used its expertise to dry dock and repair the world's ships, starting with the TSS CARNIVALE for Carnival Cruise lines. The floating dry-dock is 950 feet x 160 feet, making it the largest on the east coast of the US.
On a very nice evening here in December we decided to go out and shoot the holiday lights of Waterside, a festival Marketplace and Marina on the Elizabeth River in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. We were shooting from across the river in Portside, Portsmouth, VA and my wife was using the tripod to get her shots of waterside so I just set my camera on a piling and got this shot across the river of the shipyard.
This was shot with Fuji color 400 ASA film. A Digital Photo Center processed the C-41 film and made me a CD of the photos… Used Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 to clean this one up, used a filter to decrease the grain, sharpened, enhanced color, brightness and contrast. Cropped, resized and added border for TrekLens. The AV and TV was set on auto... The Focal Length was at max, 200/1 mm. No Exif Data available.

I never saw such a "monster" life but your photo gives me a good impression of how huge it is. It's kind of popping out...
A bit more sharpening... maybe - but that's really just a matter of taste. :)
