Harbor Park, Home of the Norfolk Tides, farm club for the Baltimore Orioles. This photo was taken from the picnic area just before the end of the last game of the first season in 1993.
I think it is interesting as a photograph for several reasons. The dark sky from an approaching storm, with the bright stadium lights that help to illustrate the separation the left fielder's position. Also, the direction of the cut of the grass also draws your eye into the image.

Shot on 35mm film with a Minolta Maxxum 7000,lens? possibly a 35-70 zoom, the widest lens I owned back then. Tripod for sure. |
