| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| To kick off the Fall season I split some wood that had been aging in our front yard and started a fire. While I started it my wife read to our children. Afterward, my 6-year old son asked if we could roast marshmallows over the fire. My wife and I exchanged mischievous glances and said "YES!" Here is my wife roasting a marshmallow to order for a S'More for the photographer. |

Hi Michael,
I like the flame on the marshmallow and the look of your wife presenting it to you. Unfortunantely with the brightness of the fire and the light in the hallway the overall photo became underexposed. This is especially unpleasant because your wife's face became too dark. A simple fill flash would have helped a lot. People tend to look at the eyes of a human and what that to be perfectly exposed. I am sure for you it is all about the moment, but a viewer does not have that feeling.
TFS,
Niek
