[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The other day when shooting Arlington National Cemetery, Danilo and I decided to meet at the Iwo Jima Memorial.

:::

The Marine Corps War Memorial (also called the Iwo Jima Memorial) is a military memorial statue outside the walls of the Arlington National Cemetery and next to the Netherlands Carillon, in Arlington, Virginia, in the United States. The memorial is dedicated to all personnel of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) who have died in the defense of their country since 1775. The design of the massive sculpture by Felix de Weldon was based on the iconic photo of the raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima by Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal. [wikipedia]

Hi Michael...

Look like, this capture is real from Iwo Jima Memorial-nice posting..!
Beautiful scene, indeed view - Than, congratulations...
Excellently done - fantastic details, sharpness and colors.
Best regards,
George

Michael,
This is classic looking. The cloudy conditions showcases good details and the wonderful quality of the sculpture. Except for the sharp vivid flag, the almost monochromatic look is apprpriate.
